Director of Marketing
Avery’s background includes high-level marketing leadership roles within the National Football League with two member clubs including Minnesota Vikings and Chicago Bears Football Teams. He was a key front office executive with 3 franchises on the opening of new stadiums and ballparks. After the opening of the “New Soldier Field” in Chicago, Avery joined Merrill Lynch as a Financial Advisor working with professional athletes and within the very unique niche of the sports industry. He also spent time in the venture capital and investment banking space in Chicago, Illinois.
As Director of Marketing, Avery is responsible for developing and managing the brand positioning, messaging framework, visual and written identity standards, content strategy, and all cohesive communications both internally and externally. He reports directly to President and CEO Drew Horter.
Avery is a registered Investment Advisor Representative and has previously held FINRA Securities licenses that include the Series 7 and 66. He graduated with a B.S. in Journalism from THE Ohio State University.
